Serving the greater Ft. Lauderdale metro area, Pivot Charter School, Ft. Lauderdale is a Florida public school with an innovative site-based approach to high quality education. Pivot Charter School incorporates an online curriculum with state-certified online teachers and certified on-site teachers working side by side with students as they are engaged in their courses in our Learning Centers.

Individualized Instruction

Each student receives an educational program to meet their individual needs and styles of learning. We enable students to successfully complete their requirements, graduate on-time, and move into the next stages of either career or college life. Pivot Charter School allows students to attend school on-site either in the morning or afternoon for a shorter period of time when compared to traditional full-time school schedules.

At our state-of-the-art Learning Centers in Ft. Lauderdale, students engage in a rigorous standards-based curriculum with interactive online classes that alleviate the normal distractions and peer pressure. Our curriculum is nationally and regionally-recognized and includes Advanced Placement® courses and Service Learning. You can view our curriculum online.

Highly-Qualified Educational Coordinators

Students receive one-on-one attention from Highly Qualified, Florida-certified Educational Coordinators, and have access to career and college planning counseling. In addition, students can contact our Florida-certified online teachers 24 hours a day throughout the work week by phone, email, or instant message.

Our 24/7 student support system makes sure that your student is never without help when they need it. Solutions to technical or login issues are just a phone call away.

Flexible Schedule

Flexibility in scheduling classes and hours. Families can choose from our morning or afternoon sessions, and students have the ability to login to classes from home in the evenings and on weekends.
